Our interim care centers are not institutions. They are warm, staffed homes where girls receive immediate safety, medical attention, nourishment, and the company of people who are glad she is there. For many girls, this is the first time someone has stopped to ask how she is doing.

Whenever it is safe, we work to bring a girl back to her family. That means careful assessment, honest conversations, and real support for the household she returns to. We do not just place her back and walk away. We stay close, checking in and strengthening the family around her.
Family Care Placement
Every girl belongs in a family.
Every girl deserves the warmth and care of a family.
When reunification is not possible, we place girls with vetted, supported families in Sierra Leone. This is not a last resort. It is a calling. These families open their homes and their lives, and we walk alongside them every step of the way with training, monthly visits, and ongoing support.
